[Metadatalibrarians] Training resources on book digitization

Good morning,

I am very experienced in digitizing photographs and documents. However, I
lack experience with digitizing books and readying those digital files for
e-reader software.

I am not looking for resources on building a book scanner or
recommendations on hardware or software right now.

I am looking for training resources in the areas of digitizing books,
evaluating hardware and software for digiting books, best practices for
file naming and preparation for e-reader software, and evaluating e-reader
software.

I have had a hard time locating training or other resources that focus on
these topics.

Any recommendations on where to find this or resources that you know of
would be much appreciated!
