[Metadatalibrarians] request for advice

I have been out of the field for a few years (taking care of an elderly
parent). I am ready to go back to work and want to brush up my skills as a
technical services librarian. I plan to enroll in a metadata class at
Dominican University. I would also like to find an internship or volunteer
opportunity where I can apply textbook learning to real life. If anyone has
any advice and/or needs an extra set of hands, please let me know.
