LAC Group is seeking a Metadata/Content Librarian for a large corporate client in the Atlanta area. The Metadata Librarian position will be the primary point person on the metadata project and responsible for leading the team. This is a temporary contract position (lasting approximately 4-6 weeks).

RESPONSIBILITIES

  *   Employ expert knowledge of metadata cataloging standards
  *   Complete accurate data entry of relevant metatags within a pre-defined format and style
  *   Perform captioning of assets and videos.
  *   Ability to proof and quality control the metadata team's work
  *   Provide leadership to a team, monitor workflow, and complete the project according to a deadline
  *   Perform in an atypical corporate environment
QUALIFICATIONS

  *   At least 4 years of metadata experience, Master's in Information/Library Science is preferred
  *   Previous experience in a corporate, law firm, or production environment is a plus
  *   Supervisory experience is a plus
