[Metadatalibrarians] Metadata Interest Group meeting at ALA Annual 2011 - call for discussion leaders

Greetings Metadata enthusiasts,



The ALCTS Metadata Interest Group will meet on Sunday, June 26, 8-10 am at the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center Room 350-351.



The meeting program will consist of a discussion forum on various topics related to metadata creation, such as generating item records; metadata migration; independent metadata creation/manipulation tools; and metadata quality control.



The program portion of this year's meeting will consist of concurrent round-table discussions of the topics above. If you are interested in leading the discussion on one of these topics, or on another topic of interest to the MIG community, please contact MIG Chair Jennifer Roper at jroper at virginia.edu<mailto:jroper at virginia.edu> or Vice-Chair Michael Dulock at michael.dulock at colorado.edu<mailto:michael.dulock at colorado.edu> by Friday, June 17.



MIG will hold its business meeting at 9:15-10 am following the presentations.
