Please pardon any duplication.

Yale Library seeks a knowledgeable and resourceful Metadata Quality and Cataloging Librarian to join the Catalog Management Unit (CMU) within the Resource Discovery Services department. Reporting to the CMU Manager, the Metadata Quality and Cataloging Librarian will perform quality assurance, catalog data remediation, workflow automation, and database reporting. The successful candidate will contribute to Yale Library committees and task forces, especially as these relate to the needs of catalog management practices. The incumbent will provide expertise on cataloging standards – especially in reconciling catalog data across legacy, current, and emerging standards – and assist in coordinating special projects such as library transfers and collection reclassifications. The incumbent will provide training and outreach to Yale Library units outside of Technical Services to foster collaboration and unification of workflows. They will assist in quality assessment of CMU staff work and identify areas for improvement.

A hybrid work option (at least one remote day per week) is available following training and orientation.
