The Metadata and Discovery Services Department at the University of Virginia Library is excited to invite applications for a Cataloger position. Reporting to the Metadata and Discovery Services Manager, the Cataloger will create MARC records and inform local policies for a variety of formats and materials held by the UVA Library. All unit members contribute to Subject Access Enhancement initiative to further the University of Virginia Library’s commitment to diversity and inclusion 

We highly encourage early career applicants to apply.   Please note that the required education certification is an MLS OR a bachelor’s and 4 years experience working in a library, archives, or research institution.
