The ALA Core Creative Ideas in Technical Services Interest Group (CITSIG) seeks
a new Vice-Chair for the coming two year term: Vice-Chair from (July
2023/June 2024) and Chair (July 2024/June 2025).
As an interest group within ALA Core, the Creative Ideas in Technical
Services Interest Group provides a forum for discussion of technical
services issues relevant to library staff at all levels.
ALA Core CITSIG is managed by two ALA Core members: the Chair and
Vice-Chair, who work closely together to administer and execute all aspects
of the roundtable activities as outlined by ALA Core

Key points of activity are the spring ALA Core Interest Group Week and ALA
Annual Conference during each year of the two year term.
*Interested applicants must be a member of ALA Core.*
Those interested in becoming Vice-Chair of the Creative Ideas in Technical
Services Interest Group should send a ‘letter of interest’ that includes
the following:

A short biographical sketch (maximum 250 words) introducing yourself,
any relevant experience you wish to highlight, and a statement about why
this group and role is of interest to you

A statement of tentative availability to attend in-person ALA Annual
Conferences and virtual ALA Core Interest Group Weeks for July 2023-June
2025
Please submit your ‘letter of interest’ to Laura Sill, ALA Core CITSIG
Chair, lsill at uchicago.edu and Kelli Getz, ALA Core CITSIG Vice-Chair,
kgetz at nd.edu.
Review of ‘letters of interest’ will begin on Monday, May 1.
