Greetings,

The CCQ article "Semi-automated methods for BIBFRAME work entity description<https://doi.org/10.1080/01639374.2021.2014011>," concluded with the statement that "If automation is to be useful for the communities it seeks to support, it must be ushered in with profound appreciation for, and in collaboration with, the professionals the automation would support."

A follow on to the methods research, this email invites cataloger feedback into the next generation of semi-automated functionality, asking for input into vocabulary, genre, language, and country focus areas that catalogers may want to evaluate further as they extend their professional expertise into semi-automated description.

The new survey is available here: https://upenn.co1.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_9NZO0lk9jSY7YCa

Survey results will help in understanding areas of focus for novel semi-automation and help shape understandings of types of sustained feedback that are of interest to professionals. The survey will be available throughout October and will close on Oct 31. Results of the study may appear in presentations, journal articles, or reports.

For questions or suggestions, feel free to email me directly.

-Jim
