NASIG Webinar - What Makes a Good Mentor?: A Panel Discussion

Date: March 4, 2020
Time: 2:00 pm ET
Length: 1 hour

The mentor/mentee relationship is a big part of NASIG's work, both in their new attendee mentorship and longer term mentorship programs. But what makes a good mentor? What is the role of the mentee? How can this team become a true partnership? Come listen to two mentors and one mentee who have been involved in NASIG's mentoring programs speak to their experience, the tips and tricks they learned, and what lessons they want to pass on for all considering entering such a partnership, in any library.

Our speakers are Danielle Williams (University of Evansville), co-chair of the mentoring committee at NASIG , Kate Seago (University of Kentucky), a NASIG mentor and Johannes Loetz, a recent NASIG mentee.
