Registration is now open for a unique workshop on textual analysis being
offered at this year's ER&L conference by Amanda Koziura and Charlie Harper
(Case Western Reserve University). The workshop entitled, "Exploring Text:
An introduction to digital humanities concepts and text analysis
<https://erl19.sched.com/event/Hej4/w07-exploring-text-an-introduction-to-digital-humanities-concepts-and-text-analysis>,"
will introduce participants to digital humanities concepts through text
analysis.
Participants will learn about and discuss the nature of the digital
humanities, modern concepts of data, and what computers can (and can’t!) do
with textual data. Hands-on introductions to common text analysis tools
will provide foundational knowledge for research and instruction.
Anyone interested can register through ER&L
<https://www.electroniclibrarian.org/conference-info/workshops/>.
