LAC Group seeks a Digital Image Control Specialist (rights, metadata, QC) for our client in Denver. CO. The Specialist will be responsible for providing quality control of digital images, metadata, and asset properties as needed for the numerous online and/or cable affiliate services, and supporting the digital asset workflow within the Creative Services department. Duties include maintaining compliance for all licensor credit and ad restrictions researching/documenting various issues associated with legal usage and rights. Additional responsibilities will extend to various digital image and asset management operations.  This is a full-time temporary position of indefinite length.

Primary Responsibilities:

  *   Quality control of image derivatives imported into a custom-built a content management and workflow system that enables media groups to fulfill media requests for nonlinear content distribution
  *   Interpret legal documentation (credit/ad restrictions) for licensed broadcast material, verify usage rights for various advertising/marketing channels, and research issues surrounding the creation and association of artwork
  *   Support team in various digital imaging and asset management tasks including scanning, asset ingestion, image cleanup, metadata/taxonomy tagging and fulfillment of critical and time sensitive image requests
  *   Maintain and utilize a database containing credit/advertising restrictions for licensed film, documentaries, and series titles, and Original Programming
  *   Proof digital assets, files and other necessary artwork
  *   Import files and input/merge metadata into existing image library, MediaBin, Portfolio, and other digital asset management systems

Qualifications:

  *   Bachelor's Degree preferred; minimum of 2 years related experience at a Design/Marketing Firm or related industry and/or training; or equivalent combination of education experience
  *   Ability to work across multiple service channels and projects while prioritizing and managing time and resources effectively
  *   Experience in performing fact checking using available credit/ad restrictions issued by licensors and other resources
  *   Communicate with other quality control operators to resolve records issues associated with internal acquisitions and planning database
  *   Proficient technical knowledge in Mac and PC hardware and software

  *   Proficient in Adobe products (Bridge, Photoshop and Illustrator)
  *   Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel and Power Point
  *   Familiarity with XMP and/or metadata/taxonomy standards
  *   Previous background in the entertainment industry, ad agency or design firm a plus
  *   Previous background working with a digital asset management System a plus
  *   Consistent demonstration of growth in skills and knowledge of practice areas
