[Metadatalibrarians] question about DC "relation" element

Hello everyone,

I am adding documents to our university's institutional repository, using Qualified Dublin Core as our metadata schema. I have a couple of instances in which two students worked on the same project, and turned in very similar, but different, project reports. Because they are both on the same topic, I'd like to relate them to each other, but I'm not sure which qualified version of the "relation" element would be appropriate - or maybe I'm missing the boat entirely and should be using a different element altogether. I'm thinking maybe "relation.isFormatOf" might be the way to go, but that still doesn't seem quite right.

I would appreciate other opinions on the subject.
