Apologies for duplication. Note that the deadline for submissions has
changed.
The ALCTS Metadata Interest Group is soliciting proposals for
presentations for its program at the ALA Annual Conference in
Washington, D.C. in June 2010. Presentations should cover the general
theme of non-library metadata standards implemented in library settings.
In particular, the following topics are of interest:
• Use of Archival / Museum metadata standards
• Use of metadata standards from outside cultural institutions
• Developing metadata for collaborative projects
• Application profile development
Your proposal should include the topic or title of the presentation, the
name(s) of the presenter(s), an indication of the media you intend to
use (e.g. presented paper, Power Point presentation, demo), and a 1-2
paragraph summary.
Submissions should be sent to the program co-chairs, Kevin Clair
(kmc35 at psu.edu) and Rhonda Marker (rmarker at rci.rutgers.edu), by November
30.
Cheers,
