Anyone out there using MarcEdit's OAI Harvester to download Dublin Core
Records? Is there another OAI harvester that I should look into getting
that would work better?

My end goal is to access the access the Dublin core records for the U.S.
Congressional Serial Set that are available for subscribers to the
database And then convert them into MARC so I can then add them to our
catalog. This is new territory for me so any help would be greatly
appreciated.

I was given an http address to access the Dublin core records (I'm not
sure I'm supposed to share it publically but the format of the address
was http://somewordshere.com/oai/harvest.xml) but I'm not sure what to
do with it. I was unable to find any tutorials on using the OAI
harvester in MarcEdit so I tried just using the address I was given in
the server address box and left the default settings in the metadata
type and the crosswalk path. Hit ok and I got the following error
message:

"The defined crosswalk does not appear to exist. Please verify that
this file exists."

Obviously there's more to it than that. Is there an OAI harvesting for
Dummies out there?

Teressa
