[Metadatalibrarians] Image metadata

Hi everyone,

I am curious what schema you would recommend for an small image 
collection (around 100,000) that will mostly be used by the marketing 
department at our college. We are not interested in long term archival 
necessarily, but would like to make it as user-friendly as possible.

This is my first image collection so I would appreciate any advice or 
resource recommendations.
