Hi Ross,

Two suggestions:
Art and Architecture Thesaurus (AAT)
Has terms such as: ebooks; abstracts (summaries); abstracting and indexes services; tables of contents
AAT provides sources for its terms and other useful information
AAT URL: http://www.getty.edu/research/conducting_research/vocabularies/aat/

Library of Congress Subject Headings (LCSH)
Has even more terms for this area such as: Electronic books; electronic dissertations; electronic encyclopedias; electronic newspapers; tables of contents; electronic information resources; electronic records; electronic publications; keyword searching; text files; electronic journals, e-zines; Digital Object Identifiers; Electronic reserve collections in libraries
Our library pays for access to Classification Web to look up subject headings, but you can get to a free interface where you can look up authority files at http://authorities.loc.gov/

 Hope this is helpful,

Hi everybody,

I was wondering if anybody knows of a controlled vocabulary (or
vocabularies) of terms to describe electronic resources (such as A&I
databases, full text databases, e-journal archives, e-book
collections, etc.) and the contents therein (tables of contents, full
text, abstracts, etc.)?

I've looked through the DLF ERMI documents and trolled through the
ONIX SOH schema but haven't found much. OCLC's UHF has *some*, but it
doesn't seem particularly comprehensive.

Does anybody know how the ERM systems define these things?

If there are multiple places where these things are found, that's
fine. I'm trying to build an RDF vocabulary (which I can pretty much
bet doesn't already exist), so any prior art to help guide it would be
most welcome.

Thanks,
-Ross.
