[Metadatalibrarians] Identifier projects participation?

Are any research libraries participating in any of the various
institutional or researcher identifier projects such as ISI's Researcher
ID? (More info is at: http://isiwebofknowledge.com/researcherid/ ) 

At a recent NISO meeting Thomson ISI suggested that they would like to
work with research organizations to test and develop this service and I
wonder if anyone has participated or is planning to.

If so, could you contact me off line to discuss level of involvement,
expected return from the projects, etc.
